Keeping with the iconic Vans aesthetic we all know and love, the Vans Skate Grosso Mid features an upper that's reminiscent of the legendary Vans Sk8-Hi with black panels, white contrast stitching and that signature Vans logo along the side alongside a custom 'Grosso Forever' tongue label for some extra flavour.

However, in contrast to the Sk8-Hi, the Skate Grosso Mid features a mid-top construction, making it easier to get on and off while still offering additional ankle support compared to a low-top shoe.

Of course it's not just the upper that's absolutely textbook Vans as the Skate Grosso Mid also features their unique waffle sole for that signature grip and boardfeel you expect.

While the upper may look a lot like the Sk8-Hi, the Vans Skate Grosso Mid really sets itself apart with the technology used. "It's what inside that counts", after all.

For the Skate Grosso Mid, the upper itself has been fully redesigned with a moulded heel counter for enhanced board control as well as internal tongue straps to help keep your feet locked in.

Likewise, the Vans Skate Grosso Mid also features a reinforced Duracap underlay beneath the suede upper to provide an extra layer of protection for added durability. They've even bulked up the foxing tape with a deeper knurl pattern to help them last even longer.

Alongside this new and improved upper, the Vans Skate Grosso Mid also boasts some top-tier tech in the sole to help provide maximum grip, boardfeel comfort and support.

The Vans Skate Grosso Mid features an enhanced take on their signature waffle sole with their new SickStick gum rubber compound, their stickiest rubber yet, to ensure ultimate grip when you're out skating. 

What's more, the Skate Grosso Mid also features Vans' super popular PopCush insole, their latest insole innovation which improves on their beloved UltraCush insole with longer-lasting impact protection and support to help you keep skating for longer.

Despite the shoe's vulcanized construction, Vans have beefed up the Skate Grosso Mid to guarantee top-tier comfort and impact protection, helping to reduce fatigue and heel-bruise while still ensuring the boardfeel you expect from a vulc.
